| I created this separate DA account for the sole purpose of posting and trading ATCs. ( Artist trading cards. ) I have another account for my other artwork. I decided to separate them not only because I would like to keep my possible trades organized, but also because my larger work is a bit different than the work I create for my ATCs. For my trading cards, I do tend to use more color, whereas my larger work mostly consists of black/white, ink and or graphite illustrations. To view my main art account, please click here: [link] Trading preferences: I do prefer hand drawn or painted cards, however, I will occasionally trade for a collage card, yet I don't care much for the cards with large embellishments ( buttons, gemstones, etc. ) Also, I usually trade originals for originals. If anyone would like to trade for a signed print, I can make one, and trade for a print in return. However, I DO NOT want any original cards that are laminated. Laminating is ok for prints, but having been the victim more than once of a laminated print being passed of as an original, I prefer not to trade for cards that are stated as laminated originals. Lastly, and this is very IMPORTANT, please do not ask to trade with me if you have no intention on making good on your trade. I'm getting pushed to my limit with flakers ( have been an ATC trader in other groups for a few years now), and will soon have to implement a no send until card received policy. I would hate to do this, as I have always prided myself on sending out my trades in the most timely manner possible...but lately, things have been getting out of hand. Taking a short break from ATCs
....if you don't see any new cards from me anytime soon, it's because I need to put my ATC work on hold to work on something else for awhile. I've had a project brewing in my head for about a year now, and only now have I begun working on it. It's going to be long and involved, and will include many larger drawings which will take up quite a bit of time.
